Burbank Bush Kindy is family-owned and operated by Eddie and Debbie, husband and wife with over a decade of experience as Early Childhood Educators.

Our mission is to empower children to explore the world around them, fostering a love for nature and instilling a sense of responsibility for the environment.
Our passion for the outdoors comes to life through our Bush Kindy program, which was inspired by our own experiences traveling around Australia in a campervan with our oldest daughter when she was just one years' old. This journey deepened our appreciation for nature and reinforced our commitment to providing children with hands-on learning experiences in the great outdoors. Adventure awaits just outside the door, and we encourage our little explorers to discover the miracles of the natural world every day.''
Debbie, who grew up in the natural surroundings of Byron Bay, developed a holistic approach to early childhood education. With extensive knowledge in healing and mindfulness, she brings a calming presence and a strong focus on children's emotional well-being. Debbie believes in the transformative power of being present and is passionate about creating environments where mindfulness, connection with nature, and emotional well-being are naturally woven into children's everyday experiences.
Through these experiences, children develop essential life skills including self-awareness, resilience, emotional regulation, kindness, compassion, and a deeper connection to themselves, others, and the natural world.
Eddie inspires a culture of teamwork, physical health, and active living through his passion for sport and healthy lifestyles. With a strong background in athletics, he is passionate about ensuring that movement, teamwork, and physical challenges are embedded throughout the children's learning experiences. Eddie believes that active play builds confidence, resilience, and strong social connections, while his positive energy helps create a welcoming environment where children feel happy, supported, and inspired to thrive.
